The Mental Web is developing a series of CPD courses for you to access on line. Each programme published will contain within it an Ebook to enable you to study at your own pace in your own time. When you have completed the course we will send you a set of questions to answer on line.

A 'Certificate of Competency' will be issued on the receipt of successful answers. CPD points can be earned in the same way following accreditation by the Bar Council and the Solicitors Regulatory Authority of these programmes; this facility should be available for the next CPD year. Pending accreditation, the course material is not available for solicitors or barristers.

For organisations that prefer traditional methods, onsite CPD Courses are available covering the whole field of mental health and capacity law. These courses will be led by Susan Machin who is appears before the Court of Protection in cases involving deprivation of liberty. She is alert to the difficulties faced by public bodies and is committed to supporting individuals on the 'frontline' of practice.
